Sequana apps for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS

The Sequana apps are invite-only collaboration tools for private investigators and other people working with Sequana on a case. When app access is needed for that work, Sequana issues an account with role-based access to the relevant cases and notes, timesheets, intake requests, search, and related records. The apps do not offer public account registration or access merely on request.

You are responsible for keeping your device, email verification codes, and account access secure; using only the account assigned to you; and notifying Sequana promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Access rights may be changed or withdrawn when your role, engagement, or authority changes.

The apps may keep an encrypted local cache and queue supported edits for synchronization. You remain responsible for confirming that important work has synchronized before signing out, changing devices, or deleting the app. Signing out removes local app data and any edits that have not reached the Sequana service.

App license and Apple terms

The Sequana apps are licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, Sequana grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules.

For an app obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) governs the license to the app unless a custom EULA is shown in the App Store. These terms supplement the Standard EULA and govern the Sequana account, service, and content. Apple is not a party to these terms, does not provide the Sequana service, and does not endorse the app.

Professional records and user content

You may enter or access personal, confidential, or case-related information only when authorized and only for a lawful professional purpose. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit and for following applicable confidentiality, data-protection, evidentiary, and professional obligations.

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You authorize Sequana to host, encrypt, process, synchronize, display, back up, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service or comply with law. Role-based access is a technical safeguard, not a substitute for your professional duties.

Purpose of the Navigator

The Navigator helps distinguish official visa-application biometrics from certain card-based police-certificate and background-check processes. It provides operational information for services Sequana currently supports in Paris.

Not legal or immigration advice

The Navigator does not determine visa eligibility, interpret immigration law, or replace instructions from an embassy, consulate, visa application centre, police authority, the FBI, the RCMP, IRCC, or another requesting organization. Always follow the latest instructions issued for your individual application.

Service limits

• Sequana currently supports the FBI FD-1164 for a personal Identity History Summary and ink capture on C-216C for certain Canadian criminal-record-check workflows.
• Sequana does not currently provide FD-258 fingerprinting through this service.
• Sequana does not collect official visa-application biometrics and does not replace a designated visa application centre, embassy, or consulate.

Appointments and payment

A generated booking link and a submitted booking form are requests only. No appointment exists until Sequana confirms it. The price and service details shown at confirmation apply; authority fees, postage, Channeler fees, accredited-company fees, translation, legalization, and apostille services are separate unless expressly included.

Accuracy and changing requirements

We maintain source links and review dates, but government and authority requirements can change without notice. If the Navigator conflicts with the current written instruction from the requesting authority, the authority’s instruction controls. Contact Sequana before booking when the requested form or route is unclear.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website, plugin, or apps to access or submit another person’s information without authority, exceed your assigned permissions, share access credentials, export or disclose case material improperly, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the service, evade security or rate limits, or support fraud, impersonation, forged documents, or unlawful activity.

Availability, updates, and suspension

The apps depend on a compatible Apple device, network access, the Sequana service, and third-party authentication and notification services. We may correct, update, change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or compatibility reasons. We may suspend or terminate access for unauthorized use, risk to a person or case, breach of these terms, or when the account is no longer authorized.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without a guarantee that synchronization, notifications, or access will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Apple Standard EULA contains additional terms for App Store downloads.
